Bellanie, who co-owns Chester Mox with her husband, recently graduated from an apprenticeship with a renowned leathergoods maker. Although the company still offers affordable card wallets starting at $45, they also have higher-end goods that compete with the likes of luxury companies. Everything is now handsewn using a technique known as saddle stitching, and they use the same leathers as those used by John Lobb and Hermes (although Chester Mox’s products aren’t nearly as expensive). Bellanie was nice enough to let me borrow some of her new wallets and briefcases last year and I was really impressed.
