Street style photographer Mister Mort recently talked to The New York Times about his favorite thing this summer: LL Bean’s Traveler Vest. A rugged, multi-pocketed garment originally intended for fishing and camping, Mort likes it because it’s like a jacket and bag built into one (also, maybe because it’s the only kind of outwear anyone can wear in this week’s heatwave).
Mort says to the NYT: “I can carry my telephone, notebook, pens, keys, business cards, stickers, snacks, emergency mustard packets, Lactaid, wet wipes and some other things I like to keep close to me, while still looking like an honorable citizen.” You can read the story here.
