I’ve just posted two new items in the Put This On pocket square shop. Both are Japanese in origin - the one on the left is vintage silk, we think from the 60s or so. The one on the right is new Japanese cotton. Both are absolutely gorgeous, and perfect as we transition from winter to spring.

Just added five beautiful new squares to the Put This On shop. I’ve found that listing short-run pocket squares is a wonderful stress reliever in the middle of my “real” work day. All of these are vintage fabrics, and all in relatively small quantities. One of these, we’ve got two of. So, as they say, get ‘em before they’re gone.

Thanks, by the way, to folks who’ve been tweeting @PutThisOn about their favorite and most coveted designs. That’s what passes for consumer research, around here.

I took a few minutes this morning to post some of our most limited pocket square designs - we have fewer than half a dozen of each of these. All available in our Etsy shop.

Put This On Limited Squares
I had an extraordinarily good time at our trunk shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Many, many readers wrote to me asking for sales where they live, but my time is limited. So: I’ve decided to offer one square at a time, in very limited quantities, for purchase over the internet.
I’ve priced our squares aggressively: with rare exception, our handmade squares will be just $65, which is about a third less than similar competition. No corners are cut in the making of our squares (literally or metaphorically). They are overseen from the first snip to the last stitch by a single master craftsperson here in Los Angeles. Our materials come from my own vintage adventures and from the finest mills in the world. And once they’re gone… well, you know the rest.
Above is our first square, a handsome navy number in a lightweight, very slightly textured silk. We found this silk in a San Francisco estate, and were only able to make about a dozen squares from the piece we found.
You can purchase our first limited square in our new Etsy storefront, while the proverbial supplies last.
Update: our first square is sold out. Check back next week.
(And as a special thank you to our most loyal fans, we’re offering 10% off to Inside Track and Gentlemen’s Association members. Check the latest newsletter or your email inbox for more information.)
