This is easily my favorite look from the San Francisco Chronicle’s roundup of the best street style at SF Pride this past weekend. If I could pull off a sailor hat, you bet your ass I’d wear one. Maybe not the heels, though - they’re bad for your feet.

Street Style From Around the World

The New York Times has a nice collection of vignettes on street style from around the world. Pictured above are some screen grabs I took from the videos on Brooklyn Heights Village, Paris, and Milan.

Daniel Goodbaum sends in another great street style video from Toronto.

Daniel Goodbaum sent me this video he shot last month in his hometown, Toronto. Video’s a wonderful medium for street style. Love the variety of folks shown here - note that none of them is smoking a cigarette outside a fashion show.

Certainly the hyper-short pants and no socks are a bit mannered and faddish (though very well executed), but everything else here is absolutely classic.  Notice that he looks absolutely comfortable in that suit, not fussy at all.

Bill Cunningham’s wonderful “On the Street” videos for the New York Times are now on YouTube.
