Once a week, we like to highlight what some of our readers are wearing.
One of the aspects of dress I appreciate most in the warmer months is the idea of fun. Gone are the dark, drab days of fall and winter and the impulse to dress in similarly dreary tones. While many find the heat of summer can be restrictive in the need to dress lightly, in many ways the warmest months can be the most freeing. People are on vacation; dress codes slacken to allow workers to dress comfortably; everyone gets out and about to socialize in bars or backyards. To that end, this week features fits that have an element of fun at their core.
Willy (@wwc.willy) in Taiwan is dressed for a surprise sunshower in an orange anorak with bucket hat and nylon shorts. Sho (@sho_katanosaka) in Kobe is ready to ride in oversized tees and some loud sneakers. Brian (@nomilfshakenolife) is enjoying the cooler weather of Australia in raw denim overalls with a fun Western jacket and fedora. Mohamed (@darealmo92) in Ireland is looking feral in a leopard-print shirt and shorts set with loafers. Finally, Ken (@stylebidder) in Vermont is keeping it groovy in a tie-dye tee and sandals.
