Summer is often lamented as the doldroms of style. Oppressive heat makes it hard to layer and wear big, heavy statement pieces. It’s easy to feel restricted to a t-shirt and shirts. But alternatively, think of summer as a time to get a little bit crazy. Loud colors, fun patterns, different footwear, embroidery and mending – when the heat throws the rules out the window, consider it an opportunity and challenge!
