Hey, Shopkeeper Brynna here. It’s an exciting time at Put This On. We’ve done our Spring cleaning and everything is in tip-top shape. But you know we can’t sit here just twiddling our thumbs after a big reorganization. So we’ve gone out into the vintage and flea market wilderness and brought back a fan favorite.
Yeah, that’s right – it’s your old friend, the Mid-Century Escape Map Silk Pocket Square! In case you aren’t already familiar with these bad boys, aviators during World War II and the Korean War once lined their jackets with top secret silk maps of the places they were headed so that if they got caught behind enemy lines or needed to make an emergency ocean landing, they had a double-sided map that wouldn’t fall apart under tumultuous weather conditions.
Of course, when Jesse saw these stunning vintage maps, he couldn’t resist making a batch of our World Famous pocket squares. Each one is a unique two-sided silk map made into a pocket square by our lovely studio in Los Angeles with full, hand-rolled edges. Don’t miss your chance to own one of these amazing bits of history.
