One of my favorite, most consistent brands is Post Overalls. Designer Takeshi Ohfuchi’s heavily vintage-influenced, straightforward line puts out practical, easy to wear clothes in solid fabrics year after year after year, always made in U.S. factories. There’s usually a decent amount of Post stuff on ebay, and the brand recently opened an ebay storefront selling (so far) mostly new old stock seconds–that is, stuff that wasn’t quiteright. From the initial drop, which includes wool peacoats and deck-style jackets in navy, I don’t see any major flaws in the pieces for sale. Prices are good, and there’s a nice range of sizes (sometimes hard to find XL fits in this sort of stuff).
