We don’t know what pants would look like on a dog, but we imagine they would look something like this bespoke three-piece suit on a horse.
Designed by tailor and fashion designer Emma Sandham-King – who was once an apprentice to the late Alexander McQueen – the bespoke three-piece horse suit took more than 18 meters of Harris Tweed to produce (that’s a lot more than the usual ~4 meters required for an average-sized man). The horse even has his own white dress shirt, solid navy tie (PTO approved), and matching Harris Tweed cap.
When asked about her experience, Ms. Sandham-King said: “Creating the world’s first tweed suit for a horse has been one of the biggest challenges that I have faced in my career as a designer. Some models can be real divas, but veteran racing horse Morestead was calm and a pleasure to work with.”
