Once a week, we like to highlight what some of our readers are wearing.
It’s been unseasonably wet and miserable where I am right now, and it got me to thinking. It can be exceptionally challenging to dress well in poor weather. You find yourself with soggy pant cuffs and damp shoulders, the cold slick of puddle water seeping up through your shoes, yet also clammy and hot from wearing an elaborate raincoat. One is tempted to throw it all in the bin and forsake style for the sake of comfort – at least for today. Yet some of our readers have managed to dress for the wet with panache and resolve.
Jeremy (@take5_jeremy) is taking cover with a newsboy cap, vintage M-51 coat, jeans, and moto boots. @Lastrolab is taking steps in a bucket hat, tan raincoat, double-breasted suit, and green oxfords. Niklas (@nicke.nystrom) in oustanding in his field in a green rain slicker, navy sweater, tan chinos, and chukkas. Finally, Florian (@dsqflo) is ready for anything in a vintage raincoat, Swedish army pants, and black loafers.
