Sometimes, even in the heat of summer, a tailored jacket can be just the right thing. It’s like armor, protecting and encasing you. Pick a lighter fabric – cotton, seersucker, hopsack, etc – and perhaps consider an unlined jacket for a bit more breathability. Whatever you do, though, wear it with panache and confidence as this week’s readers have.
