A few years ago, my mom was digging through the fabric in an estate when she saw something that took her breath away. A length of beautiful white linen. Slubby and textural. Soft and drapey. My mom was a textile conservator and a weaver – she knows her fabric.
She brought it to me recently. I knew immediately what it needed to become.

Handmade from vintage linen here in our atelier. Very limited in quantity (we’ve only got what we’ve got). Tasseled by hand. By hand!
It’s inspired by the flying aces of the world wars. Light enough to wear in summer, long enough to wrap luxuriously when the weather gets cooler. Goes with a sportcoat, a suit or a leather jacket. Simple and elegant.
