Many readers likely know that Adam and I have numerous outside pursuits. In addition to his filmic work, Adam is a host and editor on the brilliant comedy podcast You Look Nice Today. I’m a public radio host, and the proprietor of MaximumFun.org.
I also run an annual theme vacation / retreat / conference / bacchanal called MaxFunCon here in Southern California. It’s a weekend at a beautiful lodge on Lake Arrowhead, in the San Bernadino mountains featuring comedy, talks and classes. This year we’ll have Andrew WK, John Hodgman, Jonathan Coulton, Marc Maron, Maria Bamford and a bunch of other great people.
Folks asked me to include an element in MaxFunCon related to Put This On, so I invited Will Boehlke, proprietor of A Suitable Wardrobe, to offer a seminar on dressing for gentlemen. Will graciously accepted, and I can’t wait to learn from his vast knowledge of men’s tailored clothing.
MaxFunCon takes place May 7th-9th, 2010.
