No surprises in yesterday’s #PTOCities voting

There were no surprises in yesterday’s #PTOCities voting, with some truly spectacular drubbings after more than a thousand votes. London destroyed Antwerp, despite Belgium’s contributions to contemporary fashion – Martin Margiela, Raf Simons and Dries van Noten among them. Paris put away Dublin in similarly convincing fashion, despite the chance Dublin offers to see Donegal tweed near its natural habitat. Stockholm convincingly defeated Helsinki, and Amsterdam squarely beat Copenhagen.

Today’s battle is the first round in our Americas division. Favorite New York goes up against the old-world charm of Havana. Atlanta’s mix of Southern charm and metropolitan bright lights takes on the heavily bundled Minneapolis. America’s answer to the Continent, Montreal takes on a classically American city in Charleston. Chicago, a city distinguished by its manufacturing might takes on South America’s lone entry, the elegant Buenos Aires.
