It can be hard to find good trousers these days for less than $200. Especially if you want a slim, but classic fit. The trousers come in a range of high-end English and Italian fabrics, including Super 100 wools, hopsacks, and brushed cottons. I think the ones made for summer are especially worth a look. Fresco, for example, is popular with bespoke customers because it’s a breathable English wool made from high-twist yarns – and a fabric you’ll rarely find in ready-to-wear. It’ll hold a crease, but resist wrinkles, which makes it particularly good for traveling. It is a little scratchy though, so if you want something softer, you’ll probably want to go with the open-weave Italian tropicals. Still breathable on hot days, but will feel gentler against the skin.
