Our thanks to our beloved sponsors for supporting what we do. As the temperatures rise, each of them has some new things to help you get through the warmer seasons.
Less is more now that warmer days are around the corner, which is why Ledbury recently introduced The Richmond Chino Short.
These garment-dyed twill shorts have an 8" inseam that hits
just above the knee without revealing too much thigh. Ledbury
recommends pairing them with their new collection of polos. An example of one of their favorite go-to outfits: the Lavender Keeler Polo matched with the Stone Richmond Chino Short and Free Union Belt.
The most important holiday in the springtime is obviously Mother’s Day, and The Hanger Project has a whole section dedicated to Mother’s Day gifts. No, they’re not suggesting you give mom Saphir shoe polishes (unless she happens to be really into her double monks). Instead, they have gifts such as personalized gold necklaces, scented candles from England, and scarves from top-end producers such as Drake’s and Begg.
Slubby silk ties are to spring what wool and cashmere neckwear is to fall. Chipp has some this season made from Matka and Shantung. The first is a rough, matte basketweave; the second a bit more tightly woven and shinier. Both are designed for after-hours and weekends, when you’re wearing a suit or sport coat made from more casual materials.
Gustin has a bunch of warm-weather projects up right now – short-sleeved button-ups, soft cotton t-shirts, and even lightweight, 9oz raw denim jeans (which are more comfortable to wear on hot days). For footwear, they’ve brought back their minimalist sneakers in six different designs and color combinations, including the popular all-white version.
Finally, our thanks to Proper Cloth and Private White VC. Proper Cloth just brought back their washed denim shirt projects, and recently added some new 120s broadcloths in their “under $100″ section. Private White VC, meanwhile, is starting to release their warm weather outerwear, including line of tropical weave, water resistant safari jackets.
