From now until May 10th, you can check out the service at their pop-up shop in NYC, which is held at Cole Haan in SoHo. Next, The Hanger Project just got exclusive distribution rights for the new Permanent Style book – a limited-run, print edition of the Permanent Style blog. They also have a bunch of new Drake’s ties in, including seasonal shauntungs and year-round grenadines that come not only in solid colors, but also hard-to-find dots and stripes.
Chipp Neckwear is continuing to do what they do – offer classic, NYC-made neckties at some of the lowest prices around. Their grenadines, for example, are made from the same Italian silks as any of the world’s best producers, but cost about a third of the price. They also have ancient madders and raw silk ties if you’re looking for something more seasonal.
Gustin has some new projects up this week. Lots of raw denim jeans, rugged chinos, and casual shirts that you can beat around in on weekends. They also have a canvas and leather briefcase that’s similar to Filson’s in design, but significantly cheaper in price.
Finally, our thanks to Proper Cloth and The Bernhardt Watch Company. Proper Cloth has a new collection of horizontally striped shirts this week – from casual, hearty oxfords to dressier, lightweight poplins. Meanwhile, The Bernhardt Watch Company has a new watch called their Corsair II, which features a Miyota 9015 24-jewel automatic movement, a 120 click time lapse bezel, up to 200m of water resistance, and a sapphire crystal to make it both durable and dependable.
